I've been researching on-line storage and like Backblaze except for the inability for me to easily choose only the files I want stored. I'm not organized enough to have all my video files placed neatly in one file, but rather in different folders. Finding the ones that I did not want uploaded would take a me time that I would rather not spend on such a task. I would rather like to be able to choose only the files that I wanted to upload, thus saving me upload time.
I'll continue to research until I find a cost effective solution.

Great review of Backblaze! Testing a restore before backing up your entire system is a good idea. No need to back things up, if you can't get to the files when you need them. Backblaze works great for both backups and restores.

I recently had lunch with Backblaze's VP of Sales; he reiterated Backblaze's focus on quality of backups, and not to be distracted by things such as synchronization and sharing, which many backup companies are looking at. It's good to hear a company being focused on their core product.

I don't think they have any sort of referral program - I just liked the service and had just gotten off the phone with a friend of mine explaining how it worked and thought other folks might be interested

Nice review. Do they give any sort of referral reward? I may do this instead of investing in an NAS.
