This piece echoes the sentiment of this Life Hacker article I tweeted the other day, except the echo is louder and has numbers to back it up.

This discipline to say “no” is hard to maintain. It’s hard for my company, and it’s hard for me personally. I have half a dozen pet projects I refuse to take out behind the barn and shoot – I mean – take away to live on a farm.

I wonder if the ability to say “no” becomes easier if all the other questions are drowned out by a resounding, singular “yes”.
